01Purpose
The purpose of this policy is to protect Trade5 user accounts and data. We design the product so you can view charts, set alerts, and save layouts without depositing funds or placing orders.
Privacy by design is the guiding principle behind Trade5 security. We collect the data needed for the app to work — watchlists, alerts, settings, and login credentials — and we do not ask for financial documents to open a trading account.
02Not a financial service
Trade5 is not a broker, bank, or custodian. In particular, we do not:
- Open trading accounts or cash accounts.
- Accept deposits, process withdrawals, or hold user assets.
- Execute, route, or confirm orders in any market.
What we provide
The product provides chart analysis tools, including:
- Charts, indicators, drawing tools, and watchlists.
- Price alerts and notifications on your devices.
- News, FAQ, feedback and customer support.
03Account security
To protect your app account, we apply the following measures:
- Authentication with email or supported device sign-in methods.
- Sessions that expire and can be revoked from a lost device.
- Alerts when a new device signs in.
- Password reset from your registered email address.
Note: Trade5 does not request KYC documents, proof of address, or bank account details because we do not hold funds or process orders.
04Encryption & storage
- In transit. Connections to our services use HTTPS/TLS.
- At rest. Credentials and account data are protected with access controls and server-side encryption.
- On device. Local settings live on your device and can be removed with the app.
- Backups. Operational backups have restricted access and are not used for marketing.
05Data we collect
Trade5 account data is limited to what the app needs: profile, settings, and analysis content.
- Account. Email, device identifiers, and language preference.
- App content. Watchlists, alerts, drawing overlays, and chart layouts.
- Technical. Limited diagnostic logs to keep the app stable. We do not store balances, orders, or trade history because those features do not exist.
06Access controls & monitoring
- Internal access. Only staff who need it for support or operations can see account data, and access is logged.
- Abuse. Unusual sign-in attempts or API abuse can be flagged and sessions ended.
- No transaction monitoring. Because we do not process funds or orders, we do not monitor financial activity.
07Security incidents
- Response. If an incident affects account data, we investigate, contain the impact, and notify affected users when required.
- Review. We periodically review access controls, backups, and dependencies.
08Team practices
Employees who handle support and infrastructure receive training on privacy, account security, and data handling. Training is focused on a software product — not customer identification for brokerage, AML fund processing, or order execution.
